COVID-19 UPDATES

Beginning Tuesday, March 24th, The Center will serve you during our regular pantry hours with CURBSIDE DELIVERY.  We ask all of our neighbors to remain in their cars and we will load your items.  The Center is committed to serving you, our neighbor, safetly and efficiently during the COVID-19 pandemic.  We are following City of Kaufman request to limit access inside of buildings and practice social distancing.

QUALIFICATION
To qualify for the food pantry, you must meet the residency and income requirements below:

RESIDENCY

Must live in one of the following cities:
Kaufman (75142), Scurry (75158), Rosser (75154), Kemp (75143), Combine (75159), Crandall (75114) or Heartland (75126)*
*Forney is NOT included

INCOME

Must be below 185% of the federal poverty level or a member of the household must be receiving SNAP, SSI or Medicaid benefits.

VISITING THE FOOD PANTRY

You may visit the food pantry once every 30 calendar days.
When you visit, we will give you a reminder card with your next visit date on it.
Please bring your ID Card or Texas driver’s license.

Tuesday & Thursday 9am – 12 noon (please arrive by 11:30am)

FIRST TIME? WHAT TO BRING

If you are coming to the food pantry for the first time, please bring:

• ID with current address or ID along with documentation of current address (for example water or electric bill) – please contact us if you do not have these available

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

Each family receives the items below (when available), quantity is based on family size:

Canned meat Rice Beans
Pasta Pasta Sauce Peanut Butter
Canned veggies (as available) Mac & Cheese Cereal
Other Items: Bread, Packaged Meats, Desserts

Currently, we are not offering additional resources on-site due to COVID-19 safety precautions.  However, we will be happy to help get you connected with other organizations, if needed.
