Martha Maurer
Pantry Manager
I’m Martha Maurer, the Pantry Manager for the Kaufman Christian Help Center. I have been the Pantry Manager for 7+ years and have been with the Center for over 10 years. My husband, Joe Butter, has also been volunteering with me for 4+ years upon his retirement. I retired from the Infectious Diseases Department at UT Southwestern Medical School.
I love to quilt and often go on retreats with my quilting friends. I am also a huge animal lover! I have a farm where I raise cows. I also carry dog food in my car to feed stray dogs.
My duties at the Center include ordering food, addressing all matters concerning the North Texas Food Bank, overseeing volunteers, and ensuring that the food pantry operates efficiently.
