If you’re a senior aged 60 or above, our Hygiene Closet provides essential items like toilet paper, soap, shampoo, lotion, and toothpaste.
Our Food Pantry is available to participants once a month free of cost.
Individuals and families experiencing financial stress are eligible to participate in the Food Pantry once every 30 calendar days. Participants receive canned meat, rice, beans, pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter, canned veggies, mac & cheese, cereal and other items based on availability and family size.

AND
Income must be below 185% of the federal poverty level or a household member must be receiving SNAP, SSI and/or Medicaid benefits
First Time? What to Bring?
If you are coming to the food pantry for the first time, please bring:
- Your state-issued ID with current address OR
- Your state-issued ID along with documentation of current address such as a water or electric bill.
Please contact us if you do not have these available.
Receive no-cost assistance to help you apply for SNAP and other social services.

Staying on track with your financial goals can be challenging, but a financial mentor can provide the support you need to succeed. By helping you change behaviors, overcome obstacles, and build positive, long-term financial habits, a mentor can guide you in boosting your credit, eliminating debt, increasing savings, growing your income, controlling spending, or achieving any financial goal you set.
Wash your clothes for free with the Laundry Love Program.
Laundry Love is a program available to those in need of help paying for their laundry. We provide quarters, soap and dryer sheets up to 10 loads per household. It takes place the first Wednesday of each month at Mulberry Crossing in Kaufman, TX.
Guidelines and Details
- No drop-off services. You must remain present during the washing and drying cycles.
- Start Time: Laundry services begin at 9:00 AM. Any units loaded before 9:00 AM or before a team member arrives will not be covered by Laundry Love, and you will be responsible for the cost.
- Last Load: The last loads are accepted at 11:30 AM. Units loaded after 11:30 AM will not be covered by Laundry Love, and you will be responsible for the cost.
- Five Units Maximum: Each household can use up to five units at a time. Units can be reloaded after the cycle completes for additional laundry.
- Using the Washing and Drying Units: You are responsible for loading clothes and bedding into the unit. Team members will not load or unload your items. Once your laundry is loaded into a unit, a team member will insert quarters into the machine. Please move the washed laundry to a dryer when the wash cycle is complete.
- Dryers: The maximum alloted cost per drying cycle is 75¢.
- Ten Loads Maximum Per Household: The total number of loads is calculated based on the washer unit size:
One load unit = 1 load
Two load unit = 2 loads
Three load unit = 3 loads
Four load unit = 4 loads
Five load unit = 5 loads
